Six nude self-portraits in six days. Being a trans woman in Amerika, in our current political climate, it's not easy. Our bodies are often ridiculed, violated, banned. We're seldom the subject for artists, so I wanted to very bluntly put this part of myself forward. This is who I am. Fuck you.

Now that we've gotten the niceties out of the way, I like the way these evolved thruout the process. I don't often like to limit my color palette, but here I chose to stick with pthalo green, burnt sienna, and sometimes naples yellow.

All paintings in the series are 11 x 14 in. and oil on canvas.
